Trish Raven

A few years ago, I graduated at the University of Auckland with a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health, shortly after obtaining my Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago, majoring in Physiology and Psychology.

I take pride in having broad knowledge in both healthcare and business management. My job primarily entails supporting the facility managers, developing and implementing quality initiatives, and ensuring that we are adherent to the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Standards. I also work closely with our Chief Executive to manage the day-to-day operations and drive improvements in our care service provisions.

In 2021, I also founded my passion project, Evoke Candles, where I successfully launched and managed a product line of sustainable, aromatic soy candles. As a seasoned chandler (candle maker), I share my expertise by running workshops to teach individuals to craft their own aromatic soy candles.

With a background in insurance, business, customer service, and aged care, I contribute a synthesis of leadership, customer service, and clinical expertise within our sector.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym at Les Mills, particularly classes such as “The Trip” (immersive studio group cycling) and Body Pump (barbell workout), Saturday brunches with my husband, spending time with family and listening to self-help podcasts.
